Wow, were has the time gone? We only have one more full day here in Trujillo and then the long journey home begins. I dont even know were to begin. Our whole time here has been a whirlwind of activity. We have been constantly on the go single day since arriving here. Between going to the worksite everyday, 3 extremly LONG church services, and other things we just havent had the time to journal =(. At this point it looks like we will be doing a summary of our trip once we get home. Tomorrows plans call for us to head to the worksite to pour cement into the trenches we started digging the other day. The trenches will be the foundation for the walls of the dining room/cafeteria at the orhphange sight. Its been really need to see the progress from when we started on Saturday till now. Its been very rewarding. Ive never worked so hard in my life. Im thankful I dont have to do this for a living =) Thts about it for now, Im exhausted and heading for bed. Hopefully Debbie or I can get in another entry tomorrow.

Monday
What a whirl wind of emotions. Were do we begin. The day began at 7am this morning. We had to be at breakfast at 8:00 am. Most days this is the time we begin. We get up and dressed and head downstairs (for the women) to the kitchen.

Time is a flying
I guess things have been flying very quickly. What little spare time we have, we usually spend the time cleaning up and then preparing for the next day. We haven't had much time to sit and journal like I thought. I hope that since today is Sunday and they usually don't do much manual labor that we will have time to sit and actually have time to update the blog and get some feelings and such into writing. Time seems to fly here. Everyone is very nice. I sure wish I would have taken the time to actually learn some spanish so I was at least a little more connected to the people here. Well, I guess the bus is here and we are off to chuch. I heard that we will get some free time today to actually go to the beach and sight see a little. I'm really hope to have a relaxing day. I'm a little sore from the shoveling and wheel barrels of sand from place to place. Very reward though. Fun to interact with the small things that Us American's seem to forget. Some little hand shake to the kids here, means big smiles and lots of hugs!

friday
Well yesterday didn't go as planned. After getting off the plane and thru customs we found our group that was picking us up. We were supposed to be taken directly to bus but somehow our tickets weren't till today. So we made the 30 or so minute ride to a ladys house. Her name is Flora. She is well known in the church that we are dealing with.

1st stop
We made our first leg of the trip. Our check in in Phx went well. Flight was on time and pretty smooth.

Wednesday
Well yesterday I went and got the form notarized to give temporary custody to Kari and Debbi. I made sure to give them both sets since she might have the kids from time to time to help out Kari. Frank started putting his stuff together last night, but I didn't. I don't know what is the hold up. I just need to do it! Nothing like waiting to the last minute!

The count down begins
Here is it Monday. Only a couple more days before we take off not only out of state, but out of the country to another continent of the world. We are both getting excited to say the least. There is so much to do to prepare. If it were just Frank and I, things would be different. We have to make sure everything is squared away and all details of those everyday little things are accounted for =)
